Envelope packaging

I have designed some envelopes ready for print to package India's prints when mailing out to clients and customers. They will be digitally printed onto the GFSmith stone stock that we ordered. I have incorporated her illustrations into the design, using the same surface pattern to correspond with her promo packs, and also some of the character designs she has been currently working on. I have also produced some promo packs for her to give out at the end of year shows and new designers, which I have kept to the same colour scheme and pattern as the envelopes to keep the range consistent.

Business cards

I have mocked up some business cards for India using various colour and stock variations. It was a bit of a struggle to print colour and emboss, as the wrong parts of the plate were getting inked up. I found a way around this using stencils of acetate, although this was quite fiddly. Instead I tried blind embossing, which I think came out really great, although India prefers the colour.

Stock choices

I have ordered some stock books and samples from GFSmith so that I can produce some mock ups and see what India prefers. We have kept mainly to the brown and turquoise/green colour combination.

Business Cards

Me and India are both really happy with the final logo designs, so I have gone ahead with the business cards. India has specified that she wants duplex stock, using perhaps a brown or teal with a turquoise.

The idea is to foil block or emboss both the logo on the front and the white lettering on the back. I will either make a copper plate to do this myself or depending on the cost and Indias budget, get them printed professionally.

I have also created some other colour variations to give India a selection to choose from.

Colours and Patterns

I have been experimenting with some colour and pattern combinations using the work and swatches provided by India. These are to be applied to the look book/poster design and promotional pack.

Promotional packs

As part of her branding, India has asked me to produce a promotional pack, which will contain her C.V. and a business card. She has given me examples of existing packs that she likes look of.

To aid the deign of her promotional pack, I have scanned n some of Indias existing work, to be applied to the final design.
